Kinabalu Trip 2011 (Day 5)

Hari ni adalah hari terakhir d Sabah..sungguh sedih nk tinggalkn negeri d bawah bayu ni..dgn udara nyaman n hutan2 nye..byk lg yg Xsempat terokai mcm rafting ke..pulau2 belah timur spt sipadan, kapalai dan mabul..insyallah if ada rezeki n umur panjang mmg Sabah akan saya kunjungi lg..Sabah outback plk nxt time..buat oudoor activity and pusing2 diving..


owh..ni kitchen dkt Summer lodge tu..me and my sis excited dgn machine pembakar roti nye..hahah..rasa nk beli tuk kt rumah..kami sarapan tost lg this morning..mls nk g cari mknan..dah tu bgn nye pn kol 10..bahahaha..sambung kemas2 bag sumbat kn smua klu blh mls nk angkat hand luggage berat2..

then we walk around gaya street then to some other malls..just to kill the time..2 of my frens went back to pasar filipina to buy some souve..to me souve tu baik beli kt pasar gaya sbb byk choice and lebih mura..tp pasar gaya tu bkn nye ada tiap2 hari kn..so trpaksa cari kt pasar filipina..

and we're off to the airport at 1 plus..pastu teros carik troli, masikng2 Xlarat nk angkot bag2 yg banyak tu..hahaha..tu la shopping hilang akal lg kn..kaya raya kwn2 saya ni..and we went to search for lunch there at the airport..


tu diaaa bag2 kami...lps lunch mmg kami dah kene siap sedia masuk pintu gate..this is it..slamat tingal negeri d bawah bayu..semoga kte berjumpa lg satu hari nnti..dlm flight tdo je smua..sambung rehat penat melayan ribot..hahaha..we reach LCCT pn around 7pm..and we had our dinner at McD..pastu ibunda n ayahnda pn sampai dgn kuda hitam mereka tuk membawa kami pulang..

all in all..Sabah pasti akan dikunjungi lg n will always be remembered..

Kinabalu Trip 2011 (Day 4)

Lpas subuh teros siap2 kn bag for Island hopping at 9am nnti and bersiap nk turun jalan2 kt Pasar yg ada kt jalan Gaya ni..nk cari baju2 utk family and bff's..owh n not to forget amplong!

pelik kt pasar ni ramai yg jual binatang..mcm2 jenis binatang ada..hoho..tp nk cari fridge magnet pn melambak sini..cantik2 plk tu..

after about an hr jalan2 cri brg, ktorg teros rush naik for bfast kt lodge td..they serve cm biasa other backpakers lodge serve..roti bakar n few kinds of spread, orange juice, coffie, tea and plain water..

after bfast we rush to take our bags and off to the jetty for island hopping..

alangkah bes nye klu ada bot layar cm tu and park je kt sini..bosan2 keje blh lari belayar..tah bile la kn..rmi mat2 saleh owner kapal2 ni..

lps siap2 pki life jacket and tikar2 kami pn naik bot ke pulau Manukan..our first stop..

the boat ride was about 15minutes je..cuaca cantikk je pg ni..above is the Manukan Island jetty..cube tgk air die tu..fuhhh..cantik xterkata!mmg blh nmpk dasar..smua excited meluru turun..

wahhh..cantikkk je kn..ni holiday tuk org2 kaya raya je la kot..

sblom tu stop jap snap2 gmbar ala2 kami holiday kt chalet blakang tu..hikhikhik..Xpe..mak saya slalu pesan "berangan xkene baya" so berangan la selagi boleh!

the beach..belah2 sana rmi yg buat water sports..kami aim nk main parasailing tu je lain xinterested..i didnt even went for snoorkling coz i just feel like laying under the sun..

we were there about 2 hours then snap2 sblom our next boat ride to Pulau Sapi where we will have our lunch..pulau sapi tu sblah je pn jauh sgt..

and here we are! bile sampi its around 11 am plus and lunch Xsedia lg so we decide to go parasailing b4 we eat..excited ni..1st time ni nk buat parasailing..Xpenah b4 this..excited!

YaaaTaaaaa!!!!!!bessssssss!!!!!depa siap rendam ktorg dlm air tu..trtelan gak la air laut sikit..tp mmg bes..tp scary gak tali die bunyi2 so cm me and my sis was looking at each other whenever tali tu berbunyi..pk klu jatuh msuk laut ni sakit jugak ni..HA HA HA

then masa tuk MAKAN!!!!!!

Its BBQ buffet style..treringat kt Jimbaran, Bali masa ni..mkn tepi laut sambil layan angin die and dgr bunyi ombak..mmg bes cume Bali lg bes sbb dpt tgk sunset and tgk kapalterbang touch down sbb Jimbaran tu located next to the airport je..but the food was delicious!mmg abis ktorg mkn..clear buffet kami!

so around 1+ we went back to KK town and to our lodge..then mandi2 bersihkan diri..solat and rehat..we were planning to go to Pasar Filipina ptg nnti so ktorg pn online and golek2 atas katil buang masa..

around 5, kami pn bersiap tuk ke pasar filipina..Xda la jauh dr our place dlm 15 minutes walking distance je..pasar filipina ni bes klu nk beli mutiara and also souve..ktorg cari tshirt MtK trail je..Xda borong byk2 pn..sebelah tu plk ada pasar yg jual mknan not sure apa nama nye..so beli lg skali amplong!owh my, bag balik penuh kopok je..

kawasan sekitar pasar filipina..pacik2 jahit kain ni mmg rmai sepanjang2 pasar tu..interesting..after about 2 hrs, kami pn bergerak pulang ke lodge..

On our way back to the lodge..

sampai lodge kami pn siap2 tuk kluar cari mkn for dinner..so we saw this one shopping mall SURIA SABAH! and my fren yg used to stay here ckp it is new so we decide to check out and have dinner here..

last2 we eat at Kenny Rogers..Xtau nk mkn mana..byk gak kedai2 kosong..baru sgt bukak gamaknye..but what i loike most is die ada kedai KARRIMOR!!iskh..kt kl ni pnye la ssh nk cri brg2 karrimor except bag la kn..tp here they have it all from cap, sandals, flip flop, jacket and all..adoi..sasau kejap tgk..budjet plk Xda allocation for this..mmg xmungkin akan pki duit saving..haha..Xpe..maybe next time..ada rezeki blh dtg for 2nd chapter to finish what i have start..

after dinner and window shopp kami pn balik..but only me and my sis coz my other friends went for urut2 d bwh lodge ni..i dont feel like it..sbb Xda rasa sengal2 sgt..

2mro is our last day and we dont have any plan..coz out flight is at 3.45pm so kami decide nk packing2 then jalan2 kt area Suria Sabah tu nk pusing habis the mall and then off to the airport..mungkin awl sbb nk lunch situ teros..

Kinabalu Trip 2011 (Day 3)

3rd day starts as early as 1.30am..wooohaaa..xterlarat sudah..mata pn bengkak tu ha..cik Ayu lg mls layah buat peace dr jauh je..ikot kn hati Xda nk bgn nye pepagi bute ngan sejuk2 alam ni..ahahaha..time ni ada thermometer kt tepi tu dan ia menunjukkn 4degree celsius..blom hulur kaki keluar lg..klu kat lua god knos la kn tahap kesejukan die..so mls pk..dgr taklimat n teros brjalan..

mmg sumpah mencabar gle..sapa kata xmencabar Mt K ni?naik gunung lain leh main lari2 kot tp MtK ni mak wyh..dgn rasa xcukp napas nye n sejuk gle nye..nk pki tbal2 pn payah sbb kulit ssh nk brnafas so blh pitam..jd wlupn sejuk terpksa la bukak jacket tu halfway unless berhenti baru tarik zip smpi atas..mental blh tahan la gak dgn hujan lebat nye kol 2pg..owh not to forget..jem ok! hahaha..sbb time ktorg g ni weekend kn..so jgn la korg g weekend time holiday ke apa..sile g weekdays yg tiada cuti umum okeh..

there were this one part kene mendaki batu yg about 70degree la kn..da la gelap maka Xnmpk apa..daki pn pki tali..gelap je smua..tetibe org dpn terlepas botol air die..pehhhh..bayangkn bunyi die "tang ketung ketang...." dr bunyi kuat smpi la bunyi tu hilang..terketar kaki ktorg kejap dgr brapa jauh nye bunyi tu nk stop..SHIT! mule la pk bukan2 kn..segala surah bc n Xhenti doa..

last ktorg smpi kt sayat2..situ lak check point diorg nk check tag..so slow sikit n jem lg..sayat2 hut ni last hut spnjang trail and hut paling tinggi skali..time ni baru la kami merasakn apa itu ribut..peh..nk bergolek ktorg smbil jln sambil pgang tali..da la one rope n share rami2..org dpn nk melayang, yg blakang smua nk melayang gak..mmg mental betol (pastu ada hati nk g everest base camp kn?) tgh jem2 tu 3 of my frens giv up sbb Xthn ribut,sejuk, n my guy fren tu dah mule kene altitude sick..die xblh berdiri tros..mmg kene baring je..nk muntah bagai katanye..so abg2 kt sayat2 hut tuh bg privilage tuk kami masuk dlm n baring2..wahahahaha...slamber badak org lain smua basah kuyup kt lua..

so as rehat tu abg2 tu bg air panas kt ktorg..time ni la air yg panas2 gle tu leh ktorg telan tnpa masalah..sbb sejuk sgt..dlm sayat2 hut tu thermometer menunjukkn -3 degree..padan la otak cramp..lebih paras beku dah ni..so me n my fren was thinking nk teroskn perjalanan..as we walk nk keluar je ada guide belari dr atas lintang pukang ckp die need about 20 guides skrg sbb ada dlm 10 org injured..ribot time tu Xyah ckp la horror die but me n my fren Xpenat lg cume Xlarat sejuk je tp if ktorg jalan insyallah sejuk tu kurang..track ke puncak dah jd air terjun da time tu..mmg tahap bahaya tp ktorg plan nk jln slow2..last2 pendakian di henti kn ble 10 org tu trpksa d bwa turun oleh guide2..so some of us beramai2 turun dgn guide group lelain tah memana campur aduk je sbb kn kes ni..owh n masuk berita okeh kes ni..highest injury in history of Mt.K at a time..masuk berite..hoho..sbb my colleague tanye keadaan ktorg pas tu..he tought something might happen to me..but alhamdulillah!

mmg frust menongeng oke! sbb i really2 wanna go but kene batal maka terok sangat la tu kn..we didnt get to c those who are injured n dont really know what kind of injury tp kami pn turun le dah kene arah..maka smua pn turun le berjemaah..ada few yg mmg kaki gunung tlg guide2 tu kt atas sbb depa tau rescue procedure..tp ble pk balik..kot2 naik kang Xpasal antara mreka yg injured kn?so baik la ikot ckp guide jgn nk blagak terrer sgt..haha..

tramat sgt sayang smm lg 100m ketingian kami beza dr puncak tu..trlampau sikit sgt dah :(

on our way down..tgk org2 blah atas tu punye terbongkok2 sbb apa?sbb bwh sikit tu je tros bratus meter nye clift..hohohoho..dah siang smua nmpk mmg nk turun tu rela merangkak ok!

wlupn kabus kekadang awan tolak nmpk gak la cerun n hutan2 kt bawah tu..time ni mmg hujan lebat lg and sejuk Xyah ckp..smbil air mengalir jatuh sepanjang batu2 ni..dlm gmba tu blh nmpk sikit2..so bunyi air terjun mmg kuat je sbb spanjang route tu mmg da jd air terjun..

ok..da sampai Pandant hut..tgk ktorg cm baru kluar dr laut basah kuyup nye Xyah ckp..berat dah baju2 tu smua..hahaha..

ok guide2 kt sini mmg power..relek lg leh pgang payung smbil memanjat..pki lak kasut getah rm5 je..my fren pki kasut kunon tuk hiking last2 asik tergelincir sbb licin wlupn tapak die bunga baru lg..pastu terkoyak..lucky mmg die bwk extra kasut so buang n tuka je if not ada yg descent bare foot je..

sbnarnye gmbar atas tu nk amik gmbar air terjun besar sblah kiri tu yg turun dr puncak tu ha tp apakan daya kabus melanda..

time descent ni xbyk gmba sbb kene cpt kejar van balik ke KK which will arive at 4pm..n smua pn Xda mood..frust xdpt smpi puncak..tp Xpe..umo masih mude still le try lg in future..

Sampai Pandant hut je guide ckp die bg masa sejam tuk bfast n kemas brg then tros descent..tp smpi bilik ktorg nk sedapkn hati masing2 dok ejek each other character ble kt atas tu td..ahahaha..mmg cm org gile gelak..sorg grumpy xtntu arah..sorg leh tdo lena ribot2 tu smpi some of us mmg ingt die dah pingsan n ada yg melompat2 sana sini cm monyet sbb xtahan sejuk..hahahaha..tp kami still bersyukur sbb masih hidup n Xterjd pape yg tidak di ingini pada kami..Alhamdulillah

lps bfast kami teros mulakan perjalanan menuruni gunung ini..dlm kol 10am..dr Pandant hut nk turun ke Laban Rata resthouse where our guide is waiting for us..antara pemandangan2 cantik while descending to Timpohon gate..Xbyk gmba sbb ktorg keja masa..n bkn nmpk sgt sbb kabus n hujan lebat..so most of the time kami belari turun je..tp Xda laju2 sgt sbb tail KK ni lain dr gunung2 biasa..die batu2 byk so tkt tergelincir sbb licin..but still in a fast pace la..

teringat time turun ni ada my student blh call n tanya kn tips final exam..hahaha..mmg kelakar turun gunung smbil borak on the phone..btw, celcom coverage mmg rule Mt.K ni..spanjang jln ada line..xda putus2 pn borak2 sambil turun gunung..GO CELCOM!

akhirnye..sampai juga kami d gate Timpohon..so we wait for another fren of ours yg slow sikit sbb mungkin kasut die yg spare tu xbrapa selesa..so while waiting we eat maggie in cup..nyummnyumm n smbil tungu van kami smpi..

then around 3.30 van pn sampi..n kami kutip luggage kami kt lobby yg kami tinggalkn smlm..n buy some souvenirs there..for ourself of coz..(ni lg satu masalah sstgh org xphm..saya mmg Xbeli souvenirs tuk org except for family and bff..sbb backpakers dont usually buy souvenirs..chewah konon padahal mmg Xbeduit Xnk ngaku lg bg alasan kn?hihi) and we're off to KK dgn busuk2 xmandi nye peluh plus kuyup hujan..mmg nasib la van pacik tu..kene hantar cuci la gamaknye!

tp sblom tu singgah kundasang for lunch..makan pn xbrapa nk lalu dah sbb pnat sgt..all we wanna do is rest and sleep..da la sejuk!

Kami bertiga yg dah tergolek dog..mmg serious xlarat dah..

in KK kami stay at Summer Lodge Backpakers..ok la tpt die..blh tahan..review kami baca penah ckp byk lipas la tu la ni la pijat2 la tp ktorg dok ok je..ni pn arrangement travel agent tu..klu sndri yg buat booking mungkin kami dok tpt lain dr yg ni tp its fine enough for me coz ive seen worst..

setiba nye kt Summer Lodge around 6.45pm again ada masalah..diorg ckp ktorg Xbaya n xda booking for us..ahhh..sudah..mmg hangin lg la my fren tu..mmg ngamuk abis smpi bf die tros melarikn diri sbb tensen die asik ngamuk spanjang trip..tp klu saya jd die pn mungkin ngamuk gak sbb kte da la penat n lps satu masalh satu masalh jd..klu skali je Xpe gak n also of coz die rasa cm die let us down..sian die..tp ktorg Xlarat pk da..we only want to take a shower and rest!

after col sana sini, last2 org tu ckp ktorg mmg da book under nama lain..haih..mls nk bertengkar tp ikot kn hati nk gak maki travel agent tu tp Xlarat..so ktorg dpt 2 bilik..in a room ada queen size bed and double dacker bed..so total tuk 8 org but there are only 6 of us include my sis yg will touch down around 8pm..die mls nk join panjat2 ni..die nk join island hopping je..

for me ok je the room..selesa je..ruang nk solat pn ada..Xda sempit sgt..tp bising sikit la sbb bwh tu ada kedai2 mkn..the lodge is located at Jalan Gaya which is surrounded with few pubs and a lot of spa..mmg bes tp bahaya if turun gunung pg urut2 ni..kang lain tpt die tekan jd lain plk..so simpan je niat tu..
time ni ktorg kemas brg2 nk sort mana nk hantar dobby, mana yg basah n mana baju bersih so senang balik Xda la angkot baju2 yg basah n bau xyah la kata cm ne kn..haha..

sambil tu wait for my sis xsampai2..pelik gak maka cuak mula melanda sbb die ni mmg 1st time terbang sesorg ni..n die last terbang ada la kot time die 14 thun n now shes 21..jadi risau jugak..col2 hp off..last2 ktorg dah cuak col taxi nk ke airport tetibe die call ckp die otw..flight delay more than an hr..hampeh..so saya marah n tnye asal Xmsg ckp flight delay, die ckp delay time smua penumpang mmg da masuk dlm kpl trbang..apa ke pelik nye la kn..hahaha..ok so teman die dinner kt pizza hut bawah..the rest of them Xnk mkn and me too sbb mmg penat sgt..tau nk tdo je..so after dinner we straight away tdo sbb sok nk bgn pg2 ada pasar kt jalan gaya ni..blh bli amplong byk2! ;)

Kinabalu Trip 2011 (Day 2)

oleh kerana travel agency kami buat taik, maka kene bgn extra early so blh siap register sndri kt main office KNP..ktorg travel mmg xpenah pki travel agency b4..slama ni book sndri je smua but this time my fren's dad advice us to hire travel agency so snang sikit..but actually mmg menyusahkn..so tuk korg2 Xpayah la..bkn ssh pn..Malaysia je pn..gamble je tp janji jgn peak time la..kluar2 balcony kabus tebal so xnmpk puncak gunung..sob..sob..sediss..xpe..jap lg nk naik atas tu pn..

nyaman je udara die..sejuk mmg xpayah ckp..

area lodge kami..kami punye lodge yg ada kreta dpn die tu..hehe..tp bkn kreta ktorg pn ;p

okeh pose vain sat b4 start pejalanan..masing2 dgn slipar bilik nye..kih kih

so after register dgn huru hara nye smpi some of my frens naik angin, kami pn bejaya daftar and da dpt potter, lunch pack, guide and our card..so tros g mkn tnpa berlengah2..

Verity of food served buffet style but sbb nk memanjat kn Xkn nk mkn bebanyak..da la sedia gemok..mau kembang Xleh gerak kang if ikot nafsu makan ni..hoho

mcm2 roti ada..da la mmg pantang nmpk roti..haihhh..saba je le..

ceria d pg hari padahal sejuk gle plus jantung berdebar2 je all the time..lama xnaik gunung la katakn..

yer..nama die balsam..muke2 smangat tp jantung pumping lebih dr normal..haha..

okeh..jd la nmpk sipi2 la gunung blakang tu..even Xnmpk full pn jd la kn..

naik van ke timpohon gate which took us about 30 minutes..haih..lmbt dah ni..klu blh nk start awl sbb ktorg need to be there latest by 3 coz we're doing the via feratta and the briefing starts at 3pm..

finally we're off climbing the highest mountain we ever climb..excited nyeee!!!!kami mula mendaki at 8.30am..hope our pace Xda la kura2 sgt kn..we got 6hrs plus to reach Laban Rata..starting pt ni pn dah tinggi nye lbh kurang G.Tahan..

We stop at almost all the rest point to refill our water bottle and to catch our breath..this is our stop for lunch and the peak stop is next to RTM station..smua dah berponcho sbb hujan non stop..mmg tough jugak la sejuk+hujan..

slalu tgk online gmba2 org amik kt sini cantik sbb blh nmpk smpi laut asal nye view dr atas batu ni..tp langsung xnmpk apa..putih suci je ha..penuh kabus n angin pn kuat..mmg dah beku dah that's y ktorg stop pn kejap2 je sbb klu dok diam lg blh beku..

finally! we reach Laban Rata at 3 tepat..yay!

teros ke Pendant Hut for the briefing..sambil menunggu..die start at 4pm sbb tngu some other ppl tp this time mmg sejuk nye below 5 degree..diorg ckp skrg mmg rainy season n view mmg Xclear..adoiiii..bergetar all the time ok..

Sambil mendengar briefing..Xpaham cm ne la cik Ayu n cik abu ni leh Xpakai jacket relek je diorg..this time i was shaking like mad woman already ok..

Our dorm is on the upper level of this hut..tangga die curam sungguh..dgn kaki pn yg dah nk gigil2..hahaha..sejuk lg..dah ala2 cat ladder da..

TaaaaDaaaa!!!our dorm..comel je kn..tp mcm tongkang..ktorg la yg sepahkn..sapa lg kn..alasan cm biasa la, dah penat..hahaha..sungguh Xleh dimaafkn alasan tu..me n my fren here Xjoin the other 3 for dinner at Laban Rata resthouse, reason is mmg tgh sejuk xblh handle nye..rasa nk keluar berjalan ke Laban rata tu cm impossible je..HAHAHA

n here are the food that they bring back for us..hihihi..blh depa bwk daging kambing bagai..ada gak yg Xbgn kol 2 sok pg ni..haihhh...we had our dinner ni around 6 after we had our shower..blh tak kt sini shower Xda heater..mmg saje ok! so ktorg curik air panas isi dlm cawan bawk masuk tandas..demmit tol..ok..ok..Xmo act diva sgt..so berserah je tp lps basuh kepala ngan air sejuk tu pn teros lega..hilang teros rasa sejuk..pelik sungguh..then we're all off to bed at 7pm coz the next day we had to wake up at 2 to start our journey to the peak of Mt.Kinabalu..
